Triple Layer Cookie Bars 3 Recipe

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 2/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk (14 ounce can)
  • 1 package semi chocolate chips (12 ounce pkg)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Preheat oven to 350°. In a 13x9 baking pan, melt butter in the oven. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over butter. Top evenly with coconut then sweetened condensed milk. Bake for 25 minutes or until browned. In small saucepan over low heat, melt chips with peanut butter. Spread evenly over hot coconut layer. Cool 30 minutes. Chill thoroughly. Cut into bars. Store loosely covered at room temp. Makes 36 bars.
