Easy Strawberry Pie Recipe

Sweet and delicious strawberry pie. A perfect way to enjoy fresh strawberries. You can half the recipe to make one pie but it is best to make two so you are sure everyone gets a piece!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons corn syrup
  • 2 pre baked pie crust
  • 6 cups strawberries - cleaned and stemmed, can slice if desired or leave whole
  • 1 package gelatin - strawberry flavored
  • Cool Whip

  • Blend first 5 ingredients and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  • Add strawberry jello; stir to blend.
  • Put strawberries into cool pie shells.
  • Pour mixture over strawberries.
  • Chill until thick.
  • Top with Cool Whip.
Note: This recipe is for two strawberry pies.
