Easy Drop Danish Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups bisquick
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup raspberry preserves - or any flavor
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon water - warm
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

  • Mix bisquick, margarine and sugar until crumbly.
  • Stir in milk until dough forms, then beat 15 more strokes.
  • Drop by spoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • Make a shallow well in the center of each and fill with preserves.
  • Bake 10 - 15 minutes at 450° F.
  • Watch as they burn easily on the bottom.
  • While warm drizzle with glaze.
  • For glaze, combine powdered sugar, warm water (more can be added if needed) and vanilla.
  • Beat until smooth.
