Pumpkin Nut Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 1/3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup pecans - chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter - melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Sift dry ingredients.
  • Add all remaining liquid ingredients.
  • Mix on medium speed.
  • Bake at 350° F for 1 hour.
  • While warm (after 5 minutes), brush with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture.
