Toffee Crisp Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package Cinnamon Crisp graham crackers
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 stick Blue Bonnet or Parkay margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sliced almonds, or other nut of choice
Directions
Line a jelly roll pan with foil (I use the new non-stick kind and it worked great). Layer 1 pkg. of graham crackers on the foil, or whatever it takes to cover the pan. Boil butter, margarine, and sugar for 2 minutes. Pour over crackers. Sprinkle with almonds or any other nut you like. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Cool, peel off foil, break in pieces, enjoy. Variation: Use chocolate graham crackers and pecans.
