Chocolate Toffee Crescent Bars 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can Pillsbury Refrigerated Quick Crescent Dinner Rolls (8 ounce can)
  • 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups nut halves or chopped nuts
  • 1 package milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate pieces (6 ounce pkg)
Directions
Separate crescent dough into two large rectangles. Place in an ungreased 15x10 jelly roll pan. Gently press dough to cover bottom of pan; seal perforations. In small saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter; boil 1 minute. Pour evenly over dough Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 375° for 14-18 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle with chocolate pieces. Slightly swirl pieces as they melt, leaving some pieces partially melted or whole (Do not spread evenly; leave a mottled appearance). Cool; cut into bars. Makes 3-4 dozen bars.

For large pan, use 2 crescent rolls and double butter and brown sugar.
