Turkey and Ham Panini Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 slices sour dough bread - 1-inch slices
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1/4 cup Giardiniera - finely chopped
  • 12 slices ham
  • 12 slices turkey
  • 12 slices Muenster cheese
  • 8 slices tomatoes

  • Butter outside side of each slice of bread.
  • Spread mustard on the inside of one slice of bread for each sandwich. Spread on chopped Giardiniera mix. Top with ham, turkey, tomatoes and cheese. Place slice of bread, butter-side out, on top of cheese; press slightly.
  • Heat panini press to medium. Or use a grill pan with a heavy bottomed pan to press on top of the sandwiches.
  • Grill each sandwich until the bottom is golden brown, approximately 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • Serve warm.
