  • In a resealable bag or a glass bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Mix well.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, making sure that the chicken is completely covered by the marinade; then refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove the chicken from marinade and wrap each piece with 2 strips of bacon. Secure the ends with toothpicks; then place the chicken on the grill. Discard the marinade.
  • Turn the chicken occasionally during the grilling process. Grill the chicken breasts until the juices run clear. The bacon should be crisp, but not burned. About 12 to 15 minutes total cooking time is required to reach the proper doneness.

"SOOO GOOOOD but I did make a few changes.... I used chicken broth instead of wine I used chicken breast cut in half Only marinated for 30 min Cooked it about 25 min to get bacon to the right amount of crispiness. Chicken was still juicy, not over cooked and had great flavor. Ate with steamed veggies and baked potato. DELICIOUS!!"

"I took PorkChop's advice and par-cooked the bacon before wrapping the chicken with it and it crisped up perfectly! So good even my husband liked it and he's not a chicken fan."

"Ooh, delicious! I actually did some boneless, skinless chicken thighs as I prefer these over the breasts and they were moist and tender. I didn't eat the bacon, but it added a ton of flavor. I followed PorkChop's and used chicken broth, too."

"These were very good...nice and tender and juicy. I used chicken broth instead of wine. THe bacon didn't crisp as much as I would prefer, so next time I will partially cook it before wrapping the chicken up."
