Texas Brownies 4 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • Frosting
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 tablespoons Milk
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Bring to a boil margarine, water and cocoa. Remove from heat and add flour, sugar, salt and soda. Mix well. Add eggs and sour cream. Bake in a greased and floured large-sided cookie sheet at 350° for 20 minutes. For the frosting bring margarine, milk and cocoa to a boil. Pour over powdered sugar. Beat well, add vanilla and nuts. Beat until smooth. Spread on brownies while warm.
