White Chocolate Cherry Cookies Recipe

With sweet surprises in every bite, this cookie will be a hit with everyone. Try substituting semi-sweet chocolate for the white chocolate or cranberries for the cherries.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter - softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 8 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries - finely chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts - finely chopped (optional)

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a small bowl, sift together flour, soda and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat sugars and butter until creamy.
  • Add eggs, vanilla and milk; beat until combined.
  • Slowly add flour mixture until blended.
  • Stir in chocolate, cherries and nuts (if desired).
  • Drop onto baking sheets. Bake 11-13 minutes until lightly browned.
