Cinnamon Crisps Recipe

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Margarine
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
In small bowl, combine four, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In medium bowl, with mixer at medium speed, cream margarine with sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture gradually, beating until smooth and blended. Refrigerate 1 hour or longer. Shape chilled dough into balls, 1 heaping teaspoon to each. Roll each ball in combined nuts and cinnamon. Lightly spray cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Place cookies 2 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until done. Cool on wire racks.
