Ingredients
1 tube saltine crackers
1 stick butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 package chocolate chips (12 ounce bag)
1/2 cup finely chopped honey roasted peanuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Lay out one sleeve of saltine crackers over foil. Melt one stick of butter and half a cup of sugar in the microwave for one minute. Spoon butter and sugar over crackers. Bake for 5 and a half minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle a 12 oz bag of chocolate chips over crackers. Return to oven and bake for another one and half minutes. Remove from oven and smooth chocolate with a spatula. Sprinkle half a cup of finely chopped honey roasted peanuts over chocolate and crackers. Press peanuts into chocolate using the same spatula. Cool at room temp. for an hour, then refrigerate for three/five hours until chocolate is firm. Break chocolate into pieces and store in zip locked bag in freezer for up to the 3 months (if it can lasts that long).
