BELGIUM CHRISTMAS COOKIES Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound butter (melted)
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon maple
  • 8 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Directions
Mix butter, sugars and eggs. Add vanilla and maple. Mix in flour and salt. Refrigerate over night. Roll into small balls and bake one at a time on top of the stove in Krumkake iron. You want the dough to be cold. I often roll about 40 balls and then put the rest of the dough in the refrigerator until I am in the need of more as if it gets too warm they don't bake as well. Enjoy!
