CHOCOLATE BOURBON BALLS Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup finely chopped nuts
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup bourbon or rum
  • 2 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • granulated sugar
Directions
Melt chocolate chips over hot water. Remove from heat.

Add corn syrup and liquor to chocolate.

Combine vanilla wafers, nuts and powdered sugar. Add chocolate mixture and mix.

Let stand for 20 - 30 minutes. Roll into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar.

Let ripen in covered container for several days.
