Crispy green beans combined with the smokey flavor of bacon and just enough heat from the red pepper flakes to make a perfect sidedish for beef, chicken or pork.

Fantastic Green Beans Recipe (+)

Directions

Wash and trim the ends from the green beans.
Place beans in a large skillet.
Add chicken broth, onion, bacon, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
Cover and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Simmer for approximately 10-15 minutes or until the beans are to your desired tenderness.
Serve warm.

Container: large skillet with lid, small skillet

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

-		1 white onion - small and diced
-		3 slices bacon - fried crisp and crumbled
-		1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
-		1 1/2 cups chicken broth
-		1 teaspoon kosher salt
