French Toasted Ham Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients
  • 12 slices firm textured white or rye bread
  • Mustard
  • 6 slices cooked ham, thin
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 slices chicken
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • Dash black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
Directions
Spread each slice of bread with mustard. Make 6 sandwiches, using 1 slice of ham, cheese and chicken in each. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper in shallow dish. Dip each sandwich in egg mixture, turning to coat on both sides. Brown sandwiches in butter over low heat. Serves 6.
