2.) Cream butter and gradually add sugar, continue creaming til light & fluffy (takes 10 minutes w/ elec mixer)
3.) Beat in vanilla, then eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg
4.) Stir in chocolate alternatively w/ flour & milk, beating after each addition til smooth
5.) Pour batter into three 8 inch layer pans lined & greased, bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes or til done
