This savory appetizer recipe features all of the tasty ingredients used for the full-size Reuben sandwich. Serve them as a distinctive hors d’ oeuvre or appetizer at your next party or gathering and watch them disappear.

Directions

Finely chop meat.
Place meat in bowl along with sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing, and chopped onion. Mix together.
Mound about 1 tablespoon of mixture on rye slices.
Top with cheese.
Place under broiler on low, until cheese melted and bubbly.
Serve warm.

Note: These freeze nicely.

-		30 slices party rye bread
-		1 1/2 cups Swiss cheese - shredded
