Cheese Egg Bake Recipe

Simple sausage egg bake that is perfect for any morning. Any meat would be perfect in this recipe, even a combination of ham, sausage and bacon.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups croutons
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 1/2 pounds sausage, browned
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard, optional
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Place croutons in bottom of 9x13 pan.

Sprinkle grated cheese on next, then crumble browned sausage over cheese.

Beat together eggs, milk, mustard, salt, pepper and pour over top.

Set overnight in refrigerator.

Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.

NOTE: Cubed ham or diced bacon may be substituted for sausage. Also, add diced onion give it extra flavor.
