Fresh Pear Bread 4 Recipe

  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 cups peeled chopped pears
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Combine eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla. Mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, soda and salt. Stir into egg mixture just until moistened. Toss pears with lemon juice. Stir pears and pecans into batter. Batter will be thick. Spoon into 2 greased 9x5x2 loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes on wire rack.
