Stuffed French Toast 9 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 - 16 ounce French bread loaf cut into 18 pieces
  • 1 - 8 ounce pkg cream cheese cut inch 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 - 3 ounce pkg cream cheese cut inch 1/4 inch slices
  • 12 eggs (large)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • Dash of cinnamon
Directions
Place 9 bread slices in the bottom of a slightly greased 9 X 13 dish. Top with cream cheese slices then top with the other bread slices. Whisk together the other ingredients and pour over the bread. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before baking. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, shielding with aluminum foil after 20 minutes. Spoon onto plates and drizzle with additional syrup.
