QUICK DINNER ROLLS Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • 2 packages dry yeast
  • 2 Eggs
  • 5 or 5 1/4 cup flour
Directions
Scald milk, add sugar, salt and butter. Cool to lukewarm. Put water in a large bowl. Add yeast until dissolved. Add milk mixture, eggs and 2 C. flour. Beat well. Stir in flour to make soft dough. Knead until smooth, about 10 minutes. Put in greased bowl and let rise in warm place about 1 1/2 hours. Punch down, turn on floured board and make into rolls of your choice. Let rise till light. Bake at 350° about 15 minutes, depending on size of rolls.
