Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 15 ounces sauerkraut (plain or bavarian style)
  • 16 ounces egg noodles
  • 10 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 10 ounces cream of celery soup
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese shredded
Container: 9" x 13" bakin dish, stock pot for pasta, skillet, large bowl

  • Brown hamburger and onion; drain.
  • Cook pasta and drain noodles.
  • Mix noodles and soups in large bowl.
  • In baking dish, layer hamburger, sauerkraut, and noodle mixture.
  • Bake at 350°F, uncovered for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle cheese over top then back another 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

"I rinse and drain the sauerkraut before mixing all the ingredients up together and putting into the baking dish. Also, I've sprinkled crushed Ritz crackers on top as well as french fried onions during the last 15mins of baking. Very good."
