KOLACHE DOUGH Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 packages or 2 tablespoon Yeast
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 1/2 cups warm Water or warm Milk
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
Directions
Dissolve yeast in warm water or milk. Add cake mix & flour. Mix ingredients. Knead dough and place in a bowl. Let rise until double. Roll out about 3/4 inches thick and cut with cookie cutter. Place on a greased pan and let rise again for about 15 minutes Make indention in middle of dough and add fruit. When finished rising bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. These are great, soft and keep for quite a while.
