Yeast Rolls Recipe

  • 6 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 packages yeast
Dissolve yeast in water. Mix eggs, sugar, shortening and salt. Then mix with warm-water mixture. Add flour, a cup at a time. Knead for 10 minutes. Put in warm place and cover with a damp towel. Let rise until double in size. Make into rolls; let rise again. Bake at 350 until brown.
