Never Fail Bread Recipe for Buns, Rolls or Butterhorns

Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk or water
  • 1/3 cup sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/3 cup Margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 4 cups flour
Directions
Mix milk, sugar, salt and margarine and heat until lukewarm. Beat egg; add to milk mixture. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 c. warm water. (Even if it's instant; it makes things go faster!) Add yeast to bowl; mix in flour. Shape and bake as desired.
