Fancy Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 onions sliced (large)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Sauté onions until soft in 3 tablespoons butter. Turn heat off and add 2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix, 2 eggs ,1 Cup sour cream, 1 cup milk, 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well pour into a greased cast iron skillet place into a pre- heated oven 450 degrees bake until golden brown. You can add hot peppers to taste. This is very very good.
