CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS Recipe

Ingredients
  • Top layer
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Bottom Layer
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
Directions
Combine ingredients for TOP LAYER and set aside. Combine all ingredients for BOTTOM LAYER; place in cupcake papers, 1/2 full, in muffin pan. Spoon the TOP LAYER cream cheese mixture on top. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes. Refrigerate to store.
