DUTCH APPLE BREAD Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons sour milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups raw apples, chopped
  • Topping
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and beat. Add flour and salt. Mix baking soda in sour milk and add to other ingredients and beat. Mix in vanilla and raw apples by hand. Put in greased loaf pan.

TOPPING:

Mix together and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes.
