GINGER BREAD Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup hot water
Directions
Cream butter and sugar, add beaten egg and molasses. Add dry ingredients, then add hot water. Beat until smooth. Bake 35 to 40 minutes in 350°F. oven.
