Crumble the flour, salt, sugar, lard and butter Crisco together.
Add vinegar and water to crumble mixture. Roll out on wax paper. Makes two single crusts.
For best results, make one batch at a time. Bake shells at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until light brown. Always prick dough with fork before baking.
NOTE: Bake apple pie at 450° for 10 minutes, then 350° until done. When making a double crust pie, I always dampen top with water, then sprinkle sugar over it. If apple pie, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
