Slow Cooker Meatballs 2 Recipe

  • Meatballs
  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (26 ounce jar)
  • 1 can Italian diced tomatoes (15 ounce can)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounce can)
  • 1 can tomato paste (Italian style) (6 ounce can)
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped (medium)
  • 1 package freshly sliced mushrooms (8 ounce pkg)
Mix all ingredients together in large bowl. Shape into palm sized meatballs. Should make about nine, depending on how large you like your meatballs.


Add olive oil to sauce pan. Heat to medium. Sauté mushrooms, chopped onion, and garlic until onion in translucent. Pour all ingredients in a large slow cooker or crockpot. Add meatballs and cook on low 6-8 hours, depending on how hot your crockpot cooks. Serve with your favorite spaghetti or pasta.
