Microwave Peanut Brittle 2 Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup raw peanuts
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons oleo
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
Stir together peanuts, sugar, corn syrup and salt in 2 qt casserole dish. Place in microwave and cook for 6 minutes on High. Stir well after 3 minutes. After full 6 minutes, add oleo and vanilla, blending well. Return to microwave and cook for 2 minutes and the 1/2 minute more. Peanuts will be lightly browned and syrup VERY hot. Add baking soda and gently stir. Mix well until light brown and foamy. Pour onto well greased cookie sheet. Cool 30-60 minutes. Break into pieces; be VERY careful when handling hot syrup.
