BEEF AND CHEESE DIP 3 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground meat
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 1 pound Mexican Velvetta cheese
  • 1 can green chilies (small can)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Brown ground meat, drain if needed; set aside. Sauté onion and garlic in butter until tender. Add tomatoes, cutting tomatoes up coarsely as you add them. Simmer 10 minutes. Cube cheese and add slowly. Stir in green chilies and ground beef. Serve with chips.

This recipe can be put in a fondue pot to keep warm.
