Similar to a small popover, this lightly textured treat can be filled with sauces or various savory ingredients to accompany meat dishes, salads, or pasta.
Yorkshire Pudding Recipe (+)
Directions
Preheat oven to 450º F.
Divide equally the vegetable oil or pan drippings among the 12 muffin cups and brush the entire inside of each cup with oil or drippings. Place in oven and heat until oil is hot and just starting to smoke.
Put remaining ingredients in a large bowl and mix until just combined. Remove hot pan from oven and divide mixture among muffin cups.
Bake 15 to 16 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
Serve immediately.
