Raisin Sauce Recipe

Served as a topping for poultry or pork, this tangy sauce is a good topping for ham, pheasant, chicken, or grouse.
Directions
  • Combine raisins, orange juice, lemon rind, chicken broth and wine.
  • Use to accompany pork or domestic or wild poultry.
  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
    Cook Time: 1 hour
    Ingredients
    - 1/2 cup raisins
    juice from one orange
    - 3/4 teaspoon lemon rind, grated
    - 1/2 cup chicken broth
    - 1/4 cup red wine (cabernet or merlot)
