Raisin and Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Like all raisin and oatmeal snacks, this cookie provides a healthy and delicious treat for all ages.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla and beat to combine.
In a medium bowl, mix the first 6 dry ingredients together and gradually add this to the creamed mixture until well blended. Stir raisins and oatmeal into mixture.
On the prepared cookie sheet, drop 1 heaping tablespoon of dough per cookie.
Bake 8 to 12 minutes. Remove pan from oven. Leave cookies on baking sheet for 1 to 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire cooking rack.

*Do not use instant or quick cooking oatmeal.
