German Schmierkase (Cheese Spread) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 cups dry cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup sweet cream
Directions
Put all ingredients together in top of double boiler and cook until melted. Remove and add 1 t. caraway sees for seasoning, if you like. Store in cool place.
