Ham & Cheese Mustard Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf French bread (16 ounce loaf)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons horseradish mustard
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 5 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 pound ham, thinly sliced

Cut bread in half lengthwise.

Combine onion, butter, mustard, bacon and poppy seeds. Spread on both slices of bread.

Place ham and cheese on bottom slice and top with other slice.

Wrap loaf in foil. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot.

A hot sandwich served on crusty French bread. This is a perfect pairing with soup on a cold winter day. Or serve it to your football fans on game day.
