Peanutty 7-Layer Bars Recipe

These bars have seven layers of heaven in them. From the fudgy crust-like layer with pieces of salty pretzels to the layers of peanut butter, chocolate and gooey condensed milk.

  • 1 box Devil's food chocolate cake
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup pretzels, crushed
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Reese's pieces
  • 1 cup honey roasted peanuts
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz can)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray,

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, egg and butter. Stir in the crushed pretzels. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan; bake for 8 minutes.

Sprinkle the the peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, Reese's Pieces and peanuts on top of the chocolate bottom while still warm. Drizzle the top of the bars with the milk. Return to the oven for an additional 12-15 minutes or until golden and bubbly, and center is set.

Cool completely before cutting into bars.
