Candy Corn Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.

Combine flour and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.

Divide dough into thirds. Leave one portion white, tint one portion yellow and the remaining portion orange.

Press white dough into the bottom of a 9x5" loaf pan. Top with the orange and then the yellow. Cover and chill for 2 hours or until firm.

Remove dough from pan and cut into 1/4-inch slices and then cut into triangles. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until set. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Create these cute cookies that look like the sweet candy everyone loves in the fall. They taste even better than the real thing.
