Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
6 hamburger buns
2 tablespoons mustard
1/2 onion, diced

Directions

Crumble ground beef into a hot skillet; season with onion powder. Cook over medium high heat. Stir frequently as the meat browns, using a wooden spoon to break the meat into small crumbles.

When the meat has browned, add the chicken broth, salt and pepper. Cook until liquid is ALMOST gone, about 10 minutes.

Serve meat on buns with mustard and fresh chopped onions

"These turned out perfect. I doubled the recipe, thinking I would freeze half. But ended up I didn't have any left to freeze! I'm not an onion fan so the onion powder was perfect."
