Ham Cheese Brunch Recipe

Ingredients
  • 16 slices white bread (crusts trimmed)
  • 8 slices ham (sliced or shaved at the deli)
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • TOPPING:
  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
Directions
Make a single layer of 8 slices of bread in a greased baking dish 9 x 13. Top each slice with ham and cheese. Then put the 8 remaining slices of bread over them. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Top with more cheese. Refrigerate overnight.

TOPPING:

(when ready to bake)

Mix melted butter with crushed cornflakes. Spread over top.

Bake 1 - 1 1/4 hours at 350 degrees.
