Onion Rings 15 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 to large onions, sliced 1/2 inch thick (medium)
  • 2 cups brown rice flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 cups + 2 T. water
Directions
Slice your onions and set aside. In a medium size bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add the water and mix again. Let set for about 15 minutes. In the meantime start heating your oil in a frying pan or deep fryer. When oil is hot enough, dip your onions into the batter and then into the oil. Fry for a few minutes or until done, flipping once. Remove from the oil and let drain on a paper towel covered plate. Salt slightly and let cool a bit before serving.
