Caramelized Sweet Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 5 sweet potatoes or 8 ounce canned sweet potatoes (medium)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 10 marshmallows (small)
  • 1 cup thin cream or milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 3 tablespoons flour
Directions
Cook the potatoes until tender and skin. If using canned, drain water from can (do not need to cook) to baking dish. Arrange in greased (Pam) 8x8" baking dish. Mix salt, flour and sugar; pour mixture over sweet potatoes. Dot with butter. Add marshmallows and nuts. Pour milk or cream over all. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
