Broiled Parmesan Tomatoes Recipe

  • Serves: 8
  • 8 tomatoes, cut upper 1/3 off
  • 2 butter
  • 1 garlic, minced
  • 1/2 Parmesan Cheese, grated
Preheat broiler. In small pan melt butter over low heat. Add garlic and cook till golden, remove from heat. Spread Parmesan cheese on waxed paper. Dip cut side of tomato in melted butter, then in cheese. Place on rack in broiling pan, cut side up. Spoon any remaining cheese on top of tomatoes and drizzle with any remaining butter mixture. Place pan in broiler on rack closest to heat source. Broil 3 to 4 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
