1. Cut up tomatoes and peel and put in cold jar.
2. 1 tsp. each of sugar and salt, in each jar.
3. Put in juice to fill . (I just smash them down with a spoon until the jar is full.)
4. Put on cold lids and flats.
5. Set jars on cookie sheet.
6. Put cookie sheet in cold oven.
7. Set oven temperature at 250 and set the timer for 75 minutes.
8. Turn off oven - let jars set in oven until cold.
9. Turn jars upside down on towel on the counter.
