No matter where you are going or what you are doing, cheesy potatoes are necessary at any gathering. These are creamy but topped with a crunchy topping.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups corn flakes, crushed

55 mins
Mix ingredients (except topping) and place in 9x13" baking pan.

Mix and sprinkle topping over it.

Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

Note: These potatoes can be made up the day before and then baked just before serving.
