Tomato Pie 26 Recipe

  • 1 pie shell (9 inch )
  • 2 or 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped basil
  • 1 tablespoon Chives
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheese
Bake pie shell until lightly browned. Slice tomatoes in pie shell, add onions. Sprinkle with pepper, basil and chives. Mix mayonnaise with 1 cup of cheese. Spread over the tomatoes and onions. Add additional 1/2 cup cheese to top of pie. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
