Harvard Beets 21 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 cups cooked beets
  • 1 onion, sliced thin (small)
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
Directions
Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Add water, vinegar and salt; bring to boil, stirring. Add beets and onions. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in butter. Makes 6 servings.
